Attention Beef Breeders!
Here is an opportunity to create a valuable resource of visual material whilst also gaining kudos as WINNER of the inaugural BEEF PRINTS NZ Photography Contest.
Each year there will be a different theme for the contest, of which members are invited to submit photographs that meet the contest criteria. Each image submitted will be judged and the winning entrant will win prizes worth
over $725.00 in value.
The theme for 2007 is: "People at Work"
This is to encourage members to make use of their surroundings
and capture a photograph that communicates the essence of
their farming environment.
(This could be a farmer and his pets, recent struggle with the winter snow, bull sale celebrations, auctioneering, farming land etc. )
Prizes:
One half page advert in the Beef Review 07 magazine (value of $550.00)
250 business cards, printed in full colour (value $100.00)
A single web page linked under a Society website of your choice
(value $75.00)
Total Value = $725.00
Entry Fee:
$10.00 per image entered. No limit to the amount of images entered. Criteria:
The shot is classified as a visually appealing setting or relaying a message of the farming life.
The entry is not required to include cattle but is preferable.
BRIEF comments may be included with each entry.
Cattle must be of the beef industry but can be of any breed
– single, mixed or crossbreed. |
