New Zealand Beef Technologies

New Zealand Beef Technologies is a service created by PBBNZ Ltd, to provide information on existing and emerging technologies relevant to the Beef industry. Its first project was completed in 2010 with a series of nationwide industry workshops entitled “BREEDPLAN™ & Related Technologies – Getting Back to Basics ”These workshops focussed on the fundamentals of BREEDPLAN™, discussed Cattle Selection Indexes and looked at Internet based inventory technologies. 160+ people attended these workshops and consisted of both existing users of BREEDPLAN™ as well asuninitiated Beef producers interested in the technology. Craig Martin - Chairman of NZBT has commented that the success of this Roadshow clearly identified the industry's enthusiasm for knowledge.

During the 2013 AgInnovation event another series of workshops will be managed by PBBNZ Ltd with the kind support and funding of New Zealand Beef & Lamb.
